A group for forecasting the weather, discussing the weather, delivering current and useful information during weather emergencies for the US and around the world. January 30th 2016 Launch Date hopefully. While this is going to be primarily a weather forecasting group, topics of a geological nature are also welcome, as well as documenting our changing planetary climate.

This group will serve as a gathering place for North Florida and South Georgia Daily Kos members and all others who are interested. Our focus, both online and with real life meet-ups, is sharing and organizing political activism; disseminating social, political and progressive issues; community building; and support and encouragement for our red state brothers and sisters.
