Ukraine struck a prominent skyscraper in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya.
There are Chechen security offices in that building, which is pictured on the 50 ruble banknote, but the target might have been a nearby FSB office or Ramzan Kadyrov’s nearby residence.
x
A drone hit the Grozny City complex early this morning, blowing out the facade of several upper floors in a tower that hosts key Chechen government offices. The blast occurred just down the road from Kadyrov’s palace. Russian channels blame intercepted UAVs, but the damage suggests a direct hit.

Luhansk has become paradise since the Russians took over.
2/ A significant number of Ukrainians – many of them elderly people, who grew up under the Soviet Union and often still hold pro-Russian views – still live in the frontline Svatove and Kreminna districts. However, they now have no electricity and conditions are reportedly dire.
3/ 'Veterans' Notes' warns that the region faces 'mass casualties' among the civilian population – who are now regarded by the occupation authorities as Russian citizens – if urgent action is not taken to restore power:
4/ "So, as of December 1st, there is ABSOLUTELY no power supply (and consequently no heating) in the entire Svatove and Kreminna municipal districts of the LPR

6/ "As of today:- there have been several fatal outcomes due to prolonged stay in cold apartments/houses of pensioners and people with chronic diseases;- the food crisis is growing;
7/ "- the head of the Administration of the Svatove Municipal District, Rusanova L.P. (who, according to available information, fled the town of Svatove) and the head of the Administration of the Kreminna Municipal District, Tretyakov V. Yu., …
8/ …have not made a SINGLE public statement or appeal to the population regarding what is happening.Several employees of the LPR State Unitary Enterprise "RSK" have committed deliberate sabotage and shirked their duties related to restoring power supply.

So instead of fragging the asshole commander they made a video and then (most likely) died.

1/ A group of Russian soldiers say their commanders are "simply driving us to the slaughter" after extorting and brutally beating them: "There's no support, no air force, nothing. You just stomp along and die." They are all now listed as missing in action. ⬇️

2/ The men are from the 328th Guards Airborne Assault Regiment (military unit 01011), which is currently fighting in the Zaporizhzhia region. Heavy fighting is ongoing south of Zaporizhzhia city, where the Russians are trying to open the route to the north.
3/ The soldiers say that they "encountered abusive practices—money collection—and we refused. Yet another money collection. They started collecting money for some company needs, from us, the soldiers. We refused to contribute. The next day, they came and beat us."
….
5/ The men complain that their commanders are "simply driving us to the slaughter. They're simply driving us to the slaughter. There's no support, no air force, nothing. No evacuation, nothing at all. You just stomp along and die. One way."
6/ "There are many who refuse, because the mission is absolutely pointless. There are 53 refuseniks in the 12th Company, a bunch of refuseniks in the 2nd Battalion, and a bunch of refuseniks in the 1st Battalion. The guys understand that everything is slowly coming to an end."
7/ A man named Evgeny Nikolaevich Sokolov, call sign “Sokol”, says that nobody returns from such combat missions. "They're simply erasing us, simply erasing us. The goal is to get rid of us as much as possible. Nobody wants to die, we don't want to die."

And, of course, Trump will continue to blather on about how Putin wants peace.

In India, Putin says Russia will take all the Ukrainian lands it has annexed. “All this boils down to one thing: Either we take back these territories by force, or eventually Ukrainian troops withdraw." Also, Trump's initial 28-pt peace plan had points he "can’t agree to." apnews.com/article/russ...
