Allegations of bias: working the ref...

As most Daily Kos readers know by now, the White House has recently created a website which will purportedly battle bias in the news… Titled “A CALL TO ACTION: Submit “Media Bias” Tips”, it seems to me that the intent is to gather “evidence” that any news site which does not mindlessly repeat Trump administration talking points is “biased”… from the announcement:

“The White House recently launched a Media Bias Portal as a service to truth and transparency. Its purpose is to combat the baseless lies, purposely omitted context, and outright left-wing lunacy of the Fake News Media — a tall task that demands the help of everyone who believes in facts and accuracy over Fake News.
“That’s why the White House is calling on everyday Americans to support the truth and hold the Fake News accountable. By visiting whitehouse.gov/biastips, anyone can submit biased or undeniably false articles, and valid submissions will be used to keep the Media Bias Portal updated.”

It goes on for a couple more paragraphs….

As IMHO anyone objective knows, highly biased reporting, as opposed to fact-based objective reporting,is kind of a specialty of right-wing propaganda sites such as Faux News (did I mis-spell that?) and OANN…

Suppose that the White House website was absolutely inundated with reports calling out bias in RIGHT wing media… Just suppose…
