Minnesota Public Radio reports that Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow and rabid pro-Trump election denier has filed to run in the Republican Primary for Governor of Minnesota against Tim Walz. He’ll first have to defeat a large Republican field consisting of:
Scott Jensen (R) - Ex-State Sen., Physician & '22 Nominee
Jeff Johnson (R) - Ex-St Cloud City Councilman
Patrick Knight (R) - Agribusiness Company CEO
Brad Kohler (R) - Retired MMA Fighter
Chris Madel (R) - Attorney
Phil Parrish (R) - Teacher
Kendall Qualls - (R) - Technology Executive
Kristin Robbins (R) - State Rep. & Ex-Congressional Aide
He’ll also have to find a LtG candidate to run with him (Gov and LtG candidates run together).
Lindell is expected to make a formal announcement next week. The Primary is August 11.
Given his incoherent videos “proving” how the 2020 election was stolen, one wonders what his campaign message will be.
