Pain Patient Empowerment

A group for people in pain and for people who support them. Mental, physical, and/or emotional pain and/or disability are all relevant topics for discussion. We are particularly concerned about the treatment of pain patients, which often involves treating patients like they're guilty (of drug addiction) until proven innocent. We are working on a Pain Patients' Bill of Rights, to become state and/or federal law. Meanwhile, meet here, make suggestions, share stories. Since this is a support group, feel free to announce when you're posting here at Kos or other activities you think the group might be interested in. Not necessarily all pain related. Let's get to know each other and lend a helping hand. Music and laughter is welcome. Pets are welcome too!
