… the Treasury Department will give $1,000 to the accounts for children born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028. Those accounts become the property of a child's guardian and "will track a stock index and allow for additional private contributions of up to $5,000 per year," according to the White House.

This is like Thomas Paine's idea from his 1796 pamphlet "Agrarian Justice"

in which he proposed a payment of £15 for every man or woman on reaching the age of 21, which is between $2,977.65 - $4,565.70 US in today's money.

Now, Trmp has enacted something that Paine might, somewhat, approve of.
