Next Up: Blame the Survivors for Not Dying in Boat Bombing

BurningDrugBoat.jpg.jpg — Killing survivors of these boat bombings is just plain murder, so call it what it is. Skip the "extrajudicial" and "illegal" terminology.

Secretary Hegseth and the Trump administration cannot seem to decide on who exactly to scapegoat for the murder of the two survivors of that boat bombing off the coast of Venezuela. Hegseth has scapegoated the Admiral who executed the Hegseth order. Hegseth implies that the Admiral acted on his own. Trump said in a press gaggle that he wouldn’t have ordered the execution of the two survivors. I’m waiting for the ultimate scapegoating, namely, that the two survivors should darn well have just up and died so all of this would have been moot. The depravity of this entire affair shreds even the tissue of moral principle.
