We're now past the halfway mark of the 2025-2026 election cycle.
So far I've raised 4.3x as much for Democrats as I had at the same point 4 years ago...and 2.5x as much as I had at this point 2 years ago!
In November 2025 specifically, I raised nearly twice as much as November 2021 and 15% more than Novembrer 2023 (remember, that was a POTUS cycle).
In terms of category breakout, so far this cycle I've raised:
- U.S. Senate: $31,499 (5.8%)
- U.S. House: $120,962 (22.4%)
- State Legislative: $278,789 (51.5%)
- State Executives*: $22,358 (4.5%)
- Courts: $40,006 (7.4%)
- State Dem Parties: $42,409 (7.8%)
- Local/Other: $2,983 (0.6%)
*NOTE: State Executives mostly includes Governors, Lt. Governors, Attorneys General, Secretaries of State, but it also includes any other state executive office such as state Treasurers, Auditors, Comptrollers, Public Service Commissioners, School Boards, etc.
As expected, the pace dropped off substantially after the November 2025 general election, and I expect it to remain fairly slow through the holiday season. After that, however, I expect things to ramp up again as we head into the Midterms proper.
AS A REMINDER: Blue26.org IS NOT A PAC.
It’s not an organization of any sort, in fact; it’s just a website which consists of a simple blog and a bunch of links to ActBlue pages categorized by type of race (U.S. House, U.S. Senate, State Legislature, etc).
Unlike many PACs, when you donate via one of my ActBlue candidate pages...
- 96% of your donation goes to their campaigns.
- 4% goes to ActBlue’s standard credit card processing fees.
- 0% goes to anyone else, including me.
As a bonus, I list the specific candidates on each page, and even include the PVI (Partisan Voter Index) for every district to give you a general idea of how realistic winning/flipping each seat is likely to be.
Oh yeah...and my ActBlue pages even include a tool which lets you opt out of sharing your email/phone number with the campaigns!
For federal races you can even donate to whoever the eventual Democratic nominee ends up being next year via a little-known but very handy feature ActBlue offers called their “Nominee Funds.”
Now that the 2025 General election is behind us, here’s where I’m moving my focus to:
