"The Naughty Lady of Shady Lane" is a popular song, the lyrics suggest that this "naughty lady" driving the whole town crazy is an attractive young woman who "throws those come-hither glances at every Tom, Dick and Joe" and "when offered some liquid refreshment never says no"; but the last line reveals her to be an infant "nine days old".

“Heaven's Just a Sin Away" is a song which was recorded in 1977 by The Kendalls, the song went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles charts. It was the duo's first top-40 entry on that chart, and the second single from the album Heaven's Just a Sin Away.

The song won the Kendalls a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and Single of the Year win from the Country Music Association.
