I champion the 'not us' who bring richness to the tapestry of our lives.
Who among us is 1st nations?
The President has a stated goal of ending birthright citizenship, but if you have 1,000,000 to toss about you can get in by getting a Trump Gold Card.
The President gasses on about everyone waiting their turn, but then brings in 59 Afrikaners and tries to ambush the leader of South Africa who thoughtfully brought white people in charge with him who refuted the point. Afrikaners are getting priority treatment in in the face of all that was sacraficed for those who have actually helped Americans. I support an organization that remembers what middle east translators meant to our soldiers.
Thus I frame all of this, along with the gerrymandering, the changes to voting laws, the policies removing voices from our institutions, the whole anti-DEI/Woke issue (if you don't like different people, stay out of the arts), and frankly punishing people for who they are. It is unpatriotic and it is un-American and it flies in the face of everything our parents and grand parents fought for.
His party sits on its hands.
But in this case, little President Trump can do about it other than tear families apart to upend the meaning of the law. There are hundreds of stories like that. I thought the GOP was pro life and pro family. And they are, if you have the right pigmentation.
Every day it is a new insult to our institutions and what we stand for. But at least people are standing up.
It is time to use democracy.io to contact your representatives. Put in your address and then send a message to your house and senate representatives at one time. Lift your voice. And vote.
The text reads: “By my right as Führer I end Amendment 14! Only blood, obedience, and loyalty (or tribute) make an American. Those who come from sh_thole countries will have to pay more!”
